YEAR WISE ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE VIDYALAYA

IN THE YEAR 2009
          

    1. Sri Rakesh Kumar, PGT(Maths) and Miss V. Kour , TGT(Eng.) visited UK under UKIERI project.
    2. Sweta Kumari was selected for Asian University for Women.
    3. Six Students were selected for IIT-JEE.
    4. Thirteen Students were selected for other Engineering Colleges.
    5. Our Vidyalaya was placed at 3rd position for maximum enrolment in JNVST -2009

IN THE YEAR 2008

    1. Hon’ble Commissioner, NVS, New Delhi highly appreciated the excellent result of class X and XII.
    2. Our Vidyalaya was declared as the best Vidyalaya under Patna Region
    3. Three students viz. Santosh Kr, Vicky Karmali and Ishwar Dayal Munda were selected for IIT, in the current batch.
    4. Anis Raza (Group leader) participated in the National Children Science Congress at the national level. Other members of the team were Sunny Kr, Priyanka kri and Simpi Kri. The project was on “Hazardous Effects of Coal mines.’
    5. Our vidyalaya conducted Regional Level Science Exhibition. Four students participated at National level Science Exhibition.
    6. Only vidyalaya under Patna Region to start teaching through interactive board.
    7. Mr. D.Munda , Art Teacher visited UK under UKIERI Project.
    8. Mr. Rakesh Kumar, PGT (Maths) and Miss V. Kour, TGT(English) were awarded with the regional Incentive Award by NVS, Patna.  
    9. Vidyalaya was felicitated with the fifth Computer Literacy Excellency Award by the Ministry of Information and Technology, Govt. of India.

IN THE YEAR 2007

    1.  Our Vidyalaya organized Regional level Alumni meet-2007 on 5.07.2007.
    2.  Our Vidyalaya was selected for UKIERI (UK-India Education and Research   Initiative) project for 2007-09.
    3.  Principal Dr. D. K. Modi visited UK in Sept 2007 under UKIERI Project.
    4.  State level Science Congress was organized in the Vidyalaya in Nov. 2007. 
    5.  Seven UK delegates visited this Vidyalaya in February 2007 under UKIERI Project.
    6.  Six teachers were awarded with Guru Shreshtha and one teacher with Guru Param for their academic excellence. 
    7.  The Principal was adjudged as the best Principal by AINAA (All India Navodaya Alumni Association).
    8.   Miss Anjali Kumari, Class – XI Sc. participated in the National level Science Congress held at Baramati, Maharastra from 25th to 31st December 2007.
    9. Our Vidyalaya bagged first prize in subdivision level tableau exhibition on the  Republic Day.
    10. Four students of this Vidyalaya representing Patna Region participated in Annual Technical mega event “TECHKRITI – 2008”at IIT, Kanpur and bagged third position in Maths Exhibition.
    11. Gen. P. K. Sehgal, renowned career counsellor of international fame counselled the students of this Vidyalaya.
    12. This is the only Vidyalaya of the Jharkhand selected by the Science and Technology Department under the scheme of the rural development through Science and Technology.
    13. Vidyalaya was placed in1st position in Patna Region in AISSCE-2007.
    14.  Vidyalaya was placed in the 2nd position in the combined result of AISSCE & AISSE-2007.

 IN THE YEAR 2006

    1. Our Vidyalaya became the first vidyalaya in Patna Region to register its own website.
    2. Our Vidyalaya was made the Science Nodal Centre in Jharkhand.
    3. Two teachers of our Vidyalaya Sri Rakesh Kumar, PGT(Maths) and Sri B. Prasad, TGT(SST) were given the National Incentive Award- 2006 by the Hon’ble minister of HRD,Govt of India Sri Arjun Singh.
    4. Sri Rakesh Kumar, PGT (Maths) was also selected as a member of delegates to attend the 16th Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers at Capetown, South Africa.
    5. Sri Rakesh Kumar, PGT(Maths) was selected for computer training program to be held at California, USA.
    6. The vidyalaya was awarded by the Commisssioner, NVS, New Delhi for producing 100% result in class XII in both the streams of the vidyalaya.
    7. The vidyalaya organized Regional Level Science Congress from 13th Nov. to 19th Nov. 2006.
    8. Eight teachers were awarded Guru Shresth by the Hon’ble commissioner New Delhi for their best performance in the CBSE results.
    9. The vidyalaya was selected as the Nodal centre of Physics all over the country
    10. This is the only vidyalaya of the Jharkhand selected by the Science and technology Department under the scheme of the rural development through science and technology.
    11. Master Rahul Kumar and Master Kunal Ranjan attended the National level Exhibition in Computer Science and Maths respectively.
    12. The four additional classrooms in the Vidyalaya were provided by District Administration Bokaro.
    13. Four boys’ dormitories, play field and 25 KVA Gen set were provided by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to enrich the infrastructural facility.
    14. The only vidyalaya in Jharkhand to open Vocational Stream of IT for +2 students.

IN THE YEAR 2005

    1. Our Vidyalaya was placed in 1st position in Patna Region in the combined class average of XII & X in CBSE Exam.
    2. Three Students were selected in IIT including Mr. Ravindra Kumar who secured 46th rank. 18 Students were selected in other Engineering Colleges in the country.
    3. Dr. R.K.Mishra, PGT (Phy) of this Vidyalaya represented the country in the Information Technology for School Teachers and Staff Programme organized by JICA at Okinawa in Japan.
    4. Mathematics laboratory was established in the vidyalaya.
    5. Three Students were selected at Regional Level for Pestalozzi Scholarship in U.K.
    6. Two Teachers were awarded Guru Param and eight were awarded Guru Shreshtha by the Hon’ble Commissioner NVS, New Delhi for excellent result in CBSE Exams.
    7. Hon’ble Commissioner, NVS, New Delhi visited the Vidyalaya on 18-03-2005.

IN THE YEAR 2004

The vidyalaya produced 100% pass percentage with 100% First Division in AISSE, which was highly appreciated by Sri D.K.Kotia, IAS, Hon’ble Ex-Commissioner, NVS, New Delhi.

IN THE YEAR 2003

It was declared the only SMART SCHOOL in Jharkhand and one of the two in Patna Region.

IN THE YEAR 2002

Upgradation of the vidyalaya up to +2 level.

IN THE YEAR 2001

Master Deepu kumar was selected for 2 year Scholarship sponsored by PESTALOZZI INTERNATIONAL VILLAGE TRUST, UK.

 

GAMES AND SPORTS

IN THE SESSION 2010-11

 

  1. Five students attended SGFI and 44 students participated in National level Sports and Games-2010-11.
 

IN THE YEAR 2009

    1. Three Students attended 22nd National Adventure Camp at Panchmarhi in M.P. in 2009.
    2. Five Students participated at SGFI level and 30 Students participated at the National Level Sports and Games.   

IN THE YEAR 2008

  1. This Vidyalaya is the only Navodaya Vidyalaya in the country where a coaching camp is running for volleyball by the SAI under the rural development scheme.
  2. 13 students represented this Vidyalaya at the National level -09 students in volleyball, 02 students in Kho -Kho and 02 students in Cricket.
  3. Taekwondo training programme started in the Vidyalaya.
  4. Four Students attended National Adventure Camp at Panchmarhi in M.P.

IN THE YEAR 2007

  1. Seven students participated in Volleyball National Game-2007.
  2. Three students were selected for SGFI-2007 in Volleyball.

IN THE YEAR 2006

  1. Four students of our vidyalaya participated in the National Level games and sports  namely Mr. Prem Kumar in Basketball , Miss Renu Kumari in Volleyball, Mr. Sumanto Rabha in Discuss throw and Miss Anita Kumari  in Kho-Kho.

IN THE YEAR 2005

  1. Master Avinash Kumar (VII) participated in kabaddi at SGFI Level
  2. 6 students – Mr. Abhishek(XI), Mr. Avinash(VII),Mr. Suraj Kumar(XI), Mr. Santosh Kumar(X), Miss Renu Kumari(VIII) & Miss Nivedita Kumari(IX)  attended National Level Games & Sports in kabaddi, basket ball, TT, volley ball & kho-kho respectively.
  3. Our Vidyalaya started Volley Ball Coaching Centre under Sports Authority of India.

Co – Curricular Activities

1. Regional Level Science Congress was organized from 13 to 19 Nov. 2006.

2.  Master Rahul Kumar (Class XI), Master Kunal Ranjan (Class XI) attended National Science Exhibition in Computer Science & Maths respectively in the year 2006.

3. Mr. Abhay Prakash (Class XI) attended Science Exhibition at National Level in the year 2005.  

4. 15 Students of our Vidyalaya attended Special National Adventure Program held at Panchmarhi in M.P.  

5. Kumari Priyanka Singh (Classs XII) participated in the Children Film Festival held at Hyderabad in Nov. 2005.

6. Science Exhibition was conducted in the Vidyalaya to develop scientific attitude among the students. A group of students attended Regional Level Science Exhibition conducted by CBSE & NVS. A group of students participated in Regional Exhibition held at JNV Samastipur.
