CELEBRATION OF ANNUAL DAY IN THE
VIDYALAYA
The
annual function of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Tenughat Bokaro was held on
The
programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest ADJI Bermo, Sri
C. Tanti. Then the traditional Saraswati Vandana was followed by the welcome
song.
Presenting the annual report of the school, Principal Dr. D.K Modi expressed great satisfaction over the result of the school which was placed 1st position in the Patna Region in the combined average of X & XII in CBSE Exam 2005. He also highlighted the achievements of the Vidyalaya in the field of academics, cultural, games and sports. The name of the principal Dr. D.K. Modi has been selected for the president award by the regional office Patna for the year 2005.

A western dance presented by small kids kept the audience spell bound.
The
centre of attraction however was a unique fashion show. Besides being a fashion
show it also stressed upon the ill effects of felling trees for commercial
purposes.
An exhibition of Martial art by the boy students and girl students impressed the audience.
GLIMPSES OF ANNUAL SPORTS

While
distributing away prizes for games and sports, special guest, Sri S.K.Jha, ADJ
II said that the JNV has raised its name within a decade only. Special guest Sri
Mahavir Prasad, CJM gave away prizes in the field of academics and regular
attendance including the CBSE result in X and XII. While blessing the students
he said that the Vidyalaya has uplifted the standards of education but needs
more improvements as the region is still backwards. Principal Nadi Ghati School,
Sri Ashok Kumar distributed prizes of cultural activity held during the year.
Sri Anant Mohan Sinha, President Bar Council Tenughat, gave away prizes to the
National Level Participants in the field of games and sports. They said that the
credit goes to the teachers for the good performance of the Vidyalaya.
Momentoes
were presented to the guests and staff of the vidyalaya.
Addressing
the students, teachers and parents the chief guest, ADJI Bermo, Sri C.Tanti said
that the education is the backbone of the country and the students are the
builders of the nation. No country can develop in the absence of education. So
the people should give the utmost importance to education. And the success of
this work depends on the role of the teachers. A teacher is like a candle that
burns him but lights others. So the teachers should discharge their duties and
responsibilities honestly and dutifully.
Prior
to the programme the chief guest along with other special guests visited the art
room of the vidayalaya to see the art exhibition. They were full of praise for
the paintings, drawings, portraits, sceneries etc drawn by the students.
